Posted on Jan 13, 2009 by Christopher Rivera in Advice
The Philadelphia Inquirer has an article of someone’s story of their ex girlfriend calling them, telling him she is still in love with him, and how she’s not happy with her current boyfriend. They have both confessed their feelings for each other, but she needs time to think. Does she stay with the guy she’s currently dating, or go back with her ex. He still has feelings for her but doesn’t know what to do next.
Gift Giving Rules when Dating

The Atlantic Journal-Constitution has writing a guide about gift giving for that significant other. I decided to chime in this, and give you some of my own rules for gift giving.
My rules for gift giving to someone you’re dating.
- Make sure the gift is personal and is something they would like
- High-priced items are not always the answer. Something more sentimental is better.
- Keep it simple if it’s for someone you’ve been in a relationship with for less than a year.
- Give them something that says you care. Getting them socks might show you care, but seriously, socks.. no.
- Getting the right gift shows you’re listening. If it’s music, get them an album from their favorite band they don’t have. Maybe a special movie they love.
- If you’ve been in a relationship for longer than 6 months, and you think it’s a relationship worth spending some money on, get tickets for a remote destination.
