Is NBC’s new show “Momma’s Boys”, where three men find their love of their life, with the help of their mother’s a recipe for disaster? Boston.com has an interesting article about the show, and overall, how stupid the whole show seems, and I agree with the article.

The overbearing mom’s have these restrictions they wish to place on their sons about whom they can and can not date. Seriously, if you want to date someone, then do it. Having your mom place all these heavy restrictions on what “she” wants in your relationship is ridiculous. Your mom is not dating her, you are.

In terms of Reality TV shows, networks need to do better. A show that can cause a stir is good for ratings, but seriously, TV and dating don’t mix. It’s a bad experiment in voyueristic dating.
